Still alive!

Rumours of my death… etc! Anyway despite 9 months without an update, work continues to be done, so here is a bumper post of recent work i’ve made. As always, if you are a promoter looking to rebrand or refresh the look of your night, get in touch and lets make something beautiful together!

36 - Hypersona

I completed the artwork and packaging for 36’s debut album “Hypersona” earlier this year. More information can be found at http://www.3six.net

Some tidbits..

Been a while since I updated the site, so here are a few designs, which I recently finished.

I have also been working on some personal concept art, using images of water which were then collaged and edited to create alien-like sea creatures. Think of them as fucked up fishes under the seas of Europa… these will no doubt be developed into full artistic creations in due time.

Portfolio

Finally, I have uploaded past work into my portfolio section. There were literally hundreds to choose from and i’m sure things will be added/replaced/removed in due time, but it represents some of my favourites designs from the past 3 or so years. Hope you like…

Glasshouse Dec

Flyer for Dec @ Glasshouse.

Glasshouse Nov 2008

I worked with Glasshouse about a year ago and I am really pleased to call them a client once more. I have re-designed the general look and aesthetic for the night, which is now at it’s new home The Mezz Club.

EB/Nov2k8

New design for Electronic Bounce in November.

It’s on the wall

My good friend Dave Hanal was out and about this weekend, giving the streets a damn good paint job. Here I am, sitting comfortably alongside my partner in musical crime, DJ VLR himself. Just don’t tell the police please…

Mezz

Mezz is a really fantastic venue, with an incredibly clean and minimal design - the result of a half a million pound project to turn it into the premiere dance music venue in Leeds. I was asked to create promotional material, including this poster. I took the basic Mezz logo and developed it into a paradise-themed design, including elements such as the apple from the garden of eden and vines circling the logo. A range of other material is also in the works.

Recent Work (Part 4)

Funky Beast
This is the Friday night event at Mansion, Huddersfield. Like Digital High, they wanted a humourous, but visually strong identity, which they could carry on to subsequent events. This design is based on the Yeti myth and like Digital High, I put it in a musical context, with the boombox and turntable.. a funky beast! A full range of promotional material was completed, including the usual flyers/posters as well as 3 banners to be used inside the venue.
